KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS :
1 - Management of Resale Procurement Categories at regional level
- Consolidates and challenges Business Requirements from Country Sales and Marketing departments in terms of : sales & marketing policies, targeted segments and customers, brand positioning, targeted sell out prices & volumes, profitability objectives and overall weaknesses in the company value proposition, with a strong support and facilitation of Regional Resale Procurement Business partners
- Contributes to the definition of Category Strategies, by balancing the necessity of European purchasing leverage & consistency on one side, satisfaction of local business requirements on the other side, in accordance with the Group Category Management Process & Procedures
- Ensure continuous alignment with and communication to regional stakeholders (MDs, CFOs, Sales & Marketing), through participation to all cross-functional purchasing Commissions
2 - Procurement Operations, Supplier Relationship Management and Supplier Performance
- Ensures the full implementation in his/her region of pan-European Brand Policies and Group framework Agreements concluded with international suppliers
- Looks after the tendering, negotiation and contractualization with regional / domestic suppliers (national brands and wholesalers), in collaboration with Group Category Buyers, the legal department and in accordance with Contract Management rules and processes
- Ensures continuous support to the regional Supply chain community to guarantee product availability and optimize stock quality / quantity
- Supports country stakeholders on all local procurement issues with the systematic aim to guarantee business continuity
- Manages Supplier Relationships regionally with a double balanced objective : monitor performance, challenge terms and conditions and develop Suppliers through progress plans on one side while ensuring that Euromaster deals with them in a sustainable and fair manner (on-time payment)
- Guarantees a sound supplier bonus / rebate management throughout the year, making sure that figures are always accurate in IS/IT systems, aligned with Finance and that appropriate action plans are defined and executed, in collaboration with Group Category Buyers, whenever targets are endangered
3 - Value proposition & competitiveness of Categories
- Continuously identifies, prioritizes and executes appropriate cost / margin optimization levers in order to feed country cost optimization plans
- Monitor margins on a monthly basis and implement corrective action plans when needed
- Evaluates / anticipates risks (in particular Business Continuity) and implement corrective plans if needed
- Participates to Resale commissions animated by Group Category Buyers, with other Regional Business Partners and Country Sales & Marketing departments
4 - Management of the Central Purchasing Project at local level
- Continue to roll-out the CPP model in Spain & Portugal with central invoicing approach on Tyres & SMR
- Implement steering of ERM Brand policy into CPP tool to streamline volume realization of integrated & franchisees
- Involve and report CPP progress and decisions toward local Stakeholders (Marketing, Franchise, Finance, Operations & Managing Director)
- Manage in collaboration with ERM SP/PT CPP Coordinator to ensure smooth daily operations of the CPP
