Your role and what we need you for:

  • Take part in bringing new materials technologies to market in the field of rubber compound composites.
  • As part of a multi-skilled R&D and industrial project team, you will be responsible for industrializing rubber compounds, ensuring the robustness of the model in compliance with product and industrial performance specifications.
  • You will be able to rely on the design teams and a Materials measurement and analysis laboratory in Magog to help you succeed.
  • You will be at the interface of Materials and Products R&D, and in direct contact with Michelin plants or subcontractors to remove risks and deploy new flexible composite technologies in North America.
  • Thanks to your business expertise, your proactivity, and your ability to analyze and process data, you will be able to define industrialization plans that are just right and
  • provide ongoing support to the plants.
  • You will be offered job training and mentoring throughout your career, to ensure that you progress smoothly in line with your experience.
  • In addition to your business skills, you will develop your project team management, communication and leadership skills through a wide network both centrally and with the plants. Of course, you will also be contributing to the digital transformation of the business and the Group.

What do you need to possess for being successful:

  • You have a college or a  bachelor’s degree in composite materials or experience relevant to the position.
  • You have between 3- and 5-years’ experience in rubber, plastics or industrialization.
  • You have a good knowledge of extrusion processes.
  • You are at ease in a bilingual environment (French and English), so you can communicate orally and in writing with your colleagues and our international partners.
  • You have a collaborative spirit, curiosity, dynamism and excellent team spirit.
  • This position will require you to travel regularly on site in North America (maximum 1 week every 2 months).
