The Opportunity

We are in search of a dynamic Service Sales Manager based in Dallas, TX to become a part of our team in a full-time capacity. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a startup-like environment within a well-established organization, where you will play a pivotal role in introducing innovative solutions and expanding business opportunities across key customer segments. The preferred location for this role is Texas, with flexibility for field-based work.

Up to 70% travel is required.

What You Will Do

  • Lead account management for high-impact fleets, ensuring a deep understanding of evolving customer needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Executives and support teams to align on business objectives and resolve customer issues.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by engaging with potential partners and analyzing market trends.
  • Formulate and implement negotiation strategies, integrating new ventures into existing operations.
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, negotiating contracts, and ensuring seamless integration.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect organizational value in all business dealings.
  • Use internal tools and external insights to find opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Apply Michelin’s Account Management Approach and tools such as Salesforce.com to handle opportunities and customer relationships.
  • Understand customer operations, including asset management and internal incentive structures, to tailor solutions effectively.
  • Stay current with industry trends through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Adopt feedback and self-assessment to drive personal and professional growth.

What You Will Bring

  • Validated experience in service sales, account management, or business development, preferably in fleet or transportation sectors.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills to evaluate business opportunities and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and opportunity management methodologies.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
