MISSION:

• Improve the standards of machines applicable to the TEC function in Digitalization roadmap
• Maintain equipment reliability following the defined maintenance strategy including criticality (At optimum costs)
• Acquire, share, apply knowledge and competencies essential for effective maintenance actions.

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

• Assist to Perform troubleshoot and repair Automation system failures to minimize downtime, and ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely by following all safety protocols.
• Assist Installing, repairing, and troubleshooting of Electrical systems and develop Automation systems.
• Assist Effectively execute projects to meet customer requirements, adhering to organizational standards for safety, PSG ED, Reliability Centered Maintenance, energy efficiency, and ISO compliance.
• Providing technical support in project execution, including updating project plans, managing execution, participate engineering and team meetings.
• Ensure energy optimization during the project and maintenance work execution.
• Support Technical diagnostics involve using specialized tools and methods to aid in troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis of issues.
• Developing Technical competencies of the team and facilitating training requirements.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Automation Engineering
• Strong academic records with the focus on Electrical & Automation Engineering principles and practices will be preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Sinhala with good interpersonal relationship skills
• Teamwork and collaboration, results orientation, leadership skills and initiation, problem solving, attention to details and learning agility
• Basic understanding on Engineering software & tools will be an advantage
