I BELIEVE THAT WORKING FOR THE MICHELIN GUIDE THAILAND IS FASCINATING AND MEANINGFUL FOR THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY IN THAILAND
I have worked with many people from the hospitality industry such as chefs, sommeliers, restaurant managers, restaurant owners, kitchen staff, .. they work so hard with art, dedication and passion to achieve their job and make the customer happy with their food. That passion passes through to our team and make us do our job with fun, excitement and gives us even more motivation.
One of my impression is MICHELIN Star Revelation Thailand event. We work hard with a lot of pressure so we wish that our event will be successful.
When we announce the winners to receive the MICHELIN Stars, it is a very emotional moment for the chefs, their team, friends & family. They are so happy and proud that sometimes they cry on stage. These awards recognize them, their hard work and help the restaurant to be well-known.
We are also involved in editorial content to promote the restaurants online. Last year we focused on how restaurants use organic ingredients from northern Thailand. It was amazing to shoot photo and video in the beautiful nature of northern Thailand. This type of content helps to raise awareness about sustainability and the hard work of local communities such as farmers, fishermen, foragers etc in remote areas.
It makes our job even more meaningful and enriching I learn new things every single day.
